Hi! I’m Peyton, the creator of Word Wilderness. I started this blog as a way to connect with other readers.

Fun facts about me

• Fantasy has been my favorite genre ever since I chose Magic Tree House over Junie B. Jones
• I also love romance, sci-fi, and horror (especially when authors combine those genres with fantasy!)
• I organize my bookshelf by series then author then genre and size. I don’t own enough physical books for a uniform organization system so I have to get creative.
• I live with a very loud cat named Kevin
• When I’m not reading, I’m probably out for a walk or learning another hobby I won’t have time for. (Most recently I learned pottery!)

Some Facts About Kevin

• He likes to eat plants (especially the ones that are bad for him)
• He LOVES snuggles and is not afraid to ask for them!
• His favorite hobby is becoming extra snuggly and affectionate right before I have to leave for work
• Kevin likes when I sit with my legs crossed so he can curl up on my lap and HATES when I put my laptop there instead of him!
• He loves watching birds and making cute chirping noises at them. He hasn’t caught any yet (due to him being inside… and all the birds being outside). He has caught a few flies that snuck in though!
