I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be hosting a Monstress read-along next month! I’ve been obsessing about this graphic novel series since I first picked it up, so I thought it would be perfect for hosting my first read-along.
Content warnings: violence, gore, child death, child brutality, death, body horror, slavery, trafficking, blood, torture, inhumane experimentation, murder, cannibalism, cursing, mentions of rape, cult themes, war themes (this is a very dark story and the narrative does not shy away from that.)

How do I join?
I’ll be hosting the Monstress read-along on my Goodreads group page which you can find here.
How will the read-along work?
Every week I’ll post questions on the Goodreads page. Once you read the section for that week, you can join the discussion by answering the questions directly on Goodreads or by posting your answers on your blog and providing a link on the discussion page.
What’s the schedule?
We’ll be reading Volume 1 of Monstress, which combines issues #1-6 of the comic series.
